Petite Sirah · 2019

$27.00

Petite Sirah, a formidable and robust wine originating in America, is renowned for its immense power and pronounced tannins. Often utilized to bolster other wines, it imparts a substantial tannic presence. When enjoyed on its own, Petite Sirah proves its mettle as a full-bodied and substantial wine, defying the diminutive connotations of its name.

Lynfred Winery’s 2019 vintage Petite Sirah is crafted from grapes cultivated in Clarksburg, California. Following an extended maturation period in American oak barrels, the wine has acquired a rich and velvety texture, wrapped in delightful notes of vanilla and subtle hints of black pepper.

This vintage of Petite Sirah would be spectacular paired with brisket, Ribeye with caramelized onions, eggplant, or stuffed peppers. Cheese suggestions include melted Swiss, aged Gouda, and Camembert.

Blend: 97% Petite Sirah, 3% Merlot
Grower/Vineyard: Clarksburg, CA
